These metrics are optional, share only what you wish to share.
How the matching works
You first need to fit each other’s age, distance, and connection preferences—and both be discoverable. Then shared running habits and interests help shape who you see. Faster doesn’t mean better.
Goals, pace, and how you like to run
The things you have in common beyond running
Your preferences and theirs, over time
Room for someone you wouldn’t expect
Preferences guide ranking, not hard exclusions. Health metrics are light signals; missing data is treated neutrally.
Do I have to be fast?
No. Goals start at 3 km a week. Runnr looks for compatibility, not speed. No previous runs are required to get started.
What if I miss my goal?
New discovery pauses; existing matches and chats stay open. Complete your goal to return, or use one of three included rest weeks after a missed period. Rest weeks don’t shift your next deadline.
How does my running week work?
Your seven-day window starts when you activate—not on a fixed Monday. You’re discoverable for your first seven days. You can schedule one goal change per period, taking effect the following period.
Is my running data private?
Routes stay hidden, and people see only a broad area. Health metrics are optional and private unless you choose to share them. You can also pause discovery, block, unmatch, or report.
